Letter to Westboro Baptist Church

Dear Westboro Baptist Church,

We agree with you in the sense that we as AMERICANS have freedom of speech, but there are restrictions on this. For example, in schools children are not allowed to curse, for it may offend others, and you have the right to express your thoughts on a certain subject. However there are limits. When something you say becomes a threat to the people around you, it is no longer appropraite or constitutional. When you go to those funerals of dead soldiers, and protest your beliefs, you are hurting those people that are mourning the death of heroes that have died for us and our country. Whether or not you agree with sending our soldiers to War, that gives you no right to hurt others that do believe that. Everyone has their own opinion about gays, and we are all entitled to that. However, that also does not give you any right to force it upon others. Gays and Soldiers are victims alike, and by doing this you are victimizing them even more. You need to learn that there are restrictions to our freedom. Everyone else is aware. We will pray for you so that you may see some guidance and realize that you are only hurting others.

Dress Code

Here at (U)NCSA we are lucky enough to not have a specific required dress code that restricts what we can and can not wear. High School Handbook Here you can see that there indeed is not dresscode. Our school proudly supports everyone of every race, sexual orientation, and stereotype. Here at Arts school, we are expected to be open to everything and support others in what they do or believe. If we were to have a dress code we are sure that people would speak out against it, because that is not what our school stands for.
